Speech Compression

Along with image compression, there is an ever-increasing need for high fidelity speech compression algorithms. AIMS  engineers are experienced in speech compression, digital signal processing, and acoustic signature emission classification. Dr. J.S. Baras of AIMS  is a co-inventor of a record-breaking CELP speech coder (patent pending) that has significantly advanced the state of the art in speech compression.
